Posted on June 19, 2022

You know, I was just like you.

I had a full-time job, worked 9-5 Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays, and a family on my shoulders who demanded time and attention every day. Not to mention the times when my children got sick. Never thought about the idea of deciding between my job and staying one day with my sick children, yes, I thought about it many times, and I felt terrible. I felt terrible, not only for being a mother and not giving them their attention, I actually wanted to be at home with them.

Well, this is not necessarily your story, but I’m trying to make a point

I promise.

Let me tell you, I’m living the life I always wanted as a person, mother, and wife. Seriously! Copywriting has changed my life completely. I’ve learned so much, and I want to learn more and more to be a better professional in this rewarding career. Yes, you can earn a six-figure income working as a copywriter.

But, what’s a copywriter? have you heard about that? What comes to your mind when you hear the word copywriter?

After learning what copywriting was, I didn’t think much about it. I took on the task of further researching the world of copywriting. You don’t have to believe everything I write in this post, do your own research but I assure you, you will find what I found.

What is copywriting?

In simple words, copywriting is persuasive writing for promotional material and content for a business. It doesn’t matter if it’s digital or printed content. Copywriting is the lifesaver of a company.

Why?

Copywriting invites and convinces the person to take action, whether to buy, click or subscribe to a service or product. Copywriting in marketing is essential for a business to function and obtain more clients. You may not realize it, but copywriting is everywhere. From newsletters in the streets letters inviting you to buy something Subscriptions of any membership seasonal offers radio and TV ads And much more. The world of copywriting extends beyond print writing. There is also digital and online copywriting. Copywriting is everywhere you will read a promotion or message from a company, or your promotional emails. All that is written to attract the attention of the public is copywriting.

Now, I could name various roles of the copywriter. A copywriter can work in several areas:

  • Write content on a landing page of a website
  • Write a persuasive letter to sell a product or a service and invite the person to the call to action. Write a detailed description of a product for sale, whether articles on eBay, Amazon, or other digital stores. It is a way of convincing and proving to the customer that this product has its specifications.

  • Write blogs, articles, emails, and newsletters either daily, weekly, or monthly.

The companies have realized that they maintain a lasting relationship with their clients and prospects who follow the company through these means. Also, through blogs and emails, you can persuade the person to buy or subscribe. Copywriting is not dead, on the contrary, during the 2020 pandemic, companies have moved their headquarters and their offices digitally It’s where most of the people are now! It’s the most brilliant move you can make. If I wanted to name all the copywriter roles, my hands would get tired of writing, not finishing this article.

But do you want to know a secret?

You don’t have to have a degree or experience to be a copywriter. You simply must have a desire to write, love persuasion, and create your own business from the comfort of your home. Sounds simple right? It is! It only takes effort, willpower, and desire to want to be your own boss. Don’t worry; you don’t necessarily have to quit your job to be a copywriter.

There are part-time copywriters, and they only work to make some money on the side. Imagine having savings to be able to travel, wherever and whenever you want. Not having to worry about emergency expenses. Because economically, you will always be prepared. Allow yourself to learn about a method to generate income, whether starting your new business as a copywriter or working part-time.

You will have countless opportunities for you as a copywriter, and best of all, you will enjoy what you are doing FROM YOUR HOME! One of the advantages of being a copywriter is that you decide which company to work, and what type of niche you are most comfortable writing with.
